The incentive runs between 1 April 2021 and 31 March 2023, giving businesses subject to corporation tax the opportunity to save up to 25p in every £1 when they purchase new commercial and industrial cleaning equipment. The super-deduction capital allowance can be combined with the ongoing annual investment allowance (AIA) for even greater tax relief. The AIA can be used to claim some or all of the value of machines used by the business from the companies’ profits before tax. The combination of the two incentives can greatly assist with investing in new machinery that would have previously been unaffordable.
