Let’s take a look at a few examples:

Single or three-phase Industrial Vacs:

This is a more generic type of industrial vacuum for heavy-duty cleaning in industrial environments. Often this type of vacuum can be tailored via a choice of filters, container size, and accessories to meet individual business needs, making them highly versatile and suitable across a range of industries for general cleaning. As the name suggests, these industrial vacs are available in a choice of 230v, 110v, and 415v.

Hazardous Dust Industrial Vacs:

When working with toxic or very fine dust it is imperative that it is contained and recovered correctly to ensure safety in the workplace and minimise risk to health. There are three levels of dust: Low, Medium, and high and hazardous dust vacuums are categorized for each type of dust depending on a number of factors including the type of filter installed and build specifications such as seals and disposal systems. Compressed Air Industrial Vacs:

This type of vacuum has been designed to be used in places where electricity is either unavailable or forbidden. Also referred to as “compressed Air” vacuums, they work on the venturi principle whereby compressed air enters the venturi box via a hose to an injector. As the air continues to flow through the venturi it accelerates creating pressure inside the box. Suitable for recovering both solids and liquids, compressed air industrial vacs are versatile for use across a range of applications.

Oil and Swarf Industrial Vacs:

As the name suggests, these vacuums are tailored for the recovery of metal chips and or oil in varying quantities. Optional design features such as a grid and valve system for separating and draining oil from swarf, for example, plus ejector systems for those who use expensive coolant in order to recycle and reuse it, as is common on CNC equipment and machinery.

ATEX Industrial Vacs:

Also known as “explosion-proof” vacuums, are designed for use in areas that have an explosion risk either from vapours or dust. In these types of areas, a traditional vacuum is not suitable as they can be a potential ignition source causing an explosion or fire.
